Pictures, Puzzles, and Motion Experiments
Looking at photos of CJ's baby daughter Elianna
We often start with snacks and puzzles. The planetary one at the left
is pretty easy but the fish puzzle (below) is a challenge.
Elastic collisions with marbles that conserve kinetic energy and momentum.
<< Bouncing ping pong balls on top of golf balls. The ping pong ball bounces amazingly high because it gets an extra kick from the much heavier golf ball.
Kelly is testing whether the rotational     >> inertia varies with the distance of the soup cans from the center of the yard stick.
