Lunch and annual meeting. Program: “The Importance of Maintaining Relationships throughout Life” by Dr. Gail Golden, UVM professor and Vermont Woman contributor and sex therapist
October 24, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. at the home of Judy Wizowaty
Piano performance by Melody Puller, who teaches and performs in Burlington. She studied piano performance and pedagogy at the University of Idaho, where she earned her Master of Music Degree. She has continued her studies with Elaine Greenfield and has also performed in Masterclasses for John O'Conor and Andre LaPlante at the Adamant Music School.

Program: Fran Stoddard of Vermont Public Television will talk about symposiums she held with a wide variety of people across the state on "The Future of Vermont."

Program: The annual discussion of books read in the past year. Tell us about your two favorites.

Program: Enjoy thoughts of spring and summer with Charlie Nardozzi, Senior Horticulturist with the National Gardening Association. He is also a author and contributor seen on WCAX and heard on Vermont Public Radio.
March 2, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Michaels College.
Program: Helen Benedict, author of "The Lonely Soldier" about women in the military. She is also the author of "The Edge of Eden" set in Seychelles in 1960. Dale Maharidge, Pulitzer prize winner of And Their Children After Them said that Benedict's brilliant reporting is neither left or right...it's human. These women are your mother, sister, cousin, daughter. Their stories of injustice in the US military will tear your guts out."

Annual meeting and lunch. Program: Dr.Polly Young Eisendrath, clinical Associate Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry at UVM. She is a Yungian psychoanalyst and author of 13 books translated in 20 languages. She will talk about her most recent book, The Self Esteem Trap, which is about raising confident and compassionate kids in an age of self-importance.
